Boston’s Logan Airport can be quite confusing for anyone who is new in the city. Even when it comes to dining and drinking options, there is no shortage of options. Whether you want a beer, full meal or a takeaway coffee and sandwich, the airport has something for every type of traveler.
Here are some of the places where you can eat and drink at Logan Airport:
1. Potbelly Sandwich Shop
In addition to their fast and friendly service, you will also most likely enjoy their fresh and yummy sandwiches. The pricing is quite fair for an airport eatery. If you’re not very familiar with the menu, the staff will help you choose. Some of the sandwich options available include grilled chicken, turkey club, Italian, roast beef, and chicken salad among others. You will also be impressed by the standard of cleanliness of the place and the freshness of the ingredients.
2. Legal Sea Foods
If you want to get one last taste of the best East Coast seafood you can get before you depart Boston, Legal Sea Foods is the spot for you. From their crab cake combo to the lobster rolls to grilled shrimp, you will not be disappointed. They also have a full bar and the waiters there are very friendly. The portions are not only large enough but equally tasty as well. Another recommended dish here is the swordfish served with rice and broccoli.
3. Lucca Bar And Grill
This one is located in Terminal B and one of the newer spots at Logan Airport. It’s the place for high-end Italian dining. You can order virtually anything Italian, such a fresh pasta and pizza. The place is exceptionally clean with plenty of sitting space. The service is surprisingly quick and friendly. Most beer prices are around $8 or thereabout.
4. Boston Beer Works
If you want to have a pint, the beer here is excellent. The blueberry is one you should definitely try. This Terminal C joint however is not just a beer spot. It’s also a place where you can go for a decent early breakfast as you wait to board your flight. You can order any chicken tender or BBQ imaginable. You also can’t go wrong with the burgers at Boston Beer Works.
5. Durgin-Park Restaurant
Not a bad spot to go for dinner before a long flight. The quality of service is quite decent. They serve great chicken wings and the beer is excellent. Other delicacies you may want to try are chicken with broccoli over pasta, lobster rolls and clam chowder, and fish and chips. If you want an early breakfast, this is not the place to go to as it doesn’t open until 12 noon.
UPDATE: Durgin-Park Restaurant closed its doors in January 2019.
6. GoGo Stop
This restaurant located in Terminal C has a pretty decent variety of vegan-friendly food options. It is the ultimate spot for grab-and-go snacks and fresh foods. Here, you will find Kosher, gluten-free and vegan options. The prices are on the higher side, which is what you should expect at most airport restaurants. If you are looking for healthy foods, look no further than GoGo Stop.
