If you’re in Orlando and want to have yourself a bit of an adventure outside of the various theme parks in the area, why not check out the Central Florida Zoo? The zoo is only a 24-minute drive from Orlando and is open to the public. Zoo hours are between 9am – 3pm and masks are required for all guests over the age of 13. The price of admission is as follows. Adults 13 and up are $19.50. Seniors 55 and over are $15.95. Children between the ages of 3-12 are $13.75 and all children under the age of 2 are free! Alternatively, you might choose to purchase an annual pass. These memberships begin at $55 for a single adult, $69 for one Senior and a guest, $99 for a family of 2 adults and up to 5 children or grandchildren, or $145 for a Premier Family membership comprising 4 adults, and up to 6 children or grandchildren.

Would you like to feed a giraffe? The giraffe feedings are held daily between the hours of 10am and 3pm and are $5 per person. This event is for adults over the age of 13. You’ll be able to hold food in your hand and watch with awe as they reach down their massive neck to swipe it away with their 20-inch tongue! This is sure to delight children of all ages; you don’t want to miss it!

If you’d like to meet a rhino, there’s no better place to do it! This encounter is held daily at 11:30am, 11:50 am, and 12:10pm. Space is limited, so you can only have 5 guests during this event. If you hold an annual pass, the fee is $15 per person. If you’re not a pass holder, the fee is $20 per person. You’ll be able to get up-close-and-personal with one of the resident rhinos at the Central Florida Zoo whose name is PJ. He is a one-horned Indian rhino, and he is very playful. Everyone in your party will be sure to absolutely love this encounter.

Do you love a sense of adventure? Then head on over to the Bungee Bounce between the hours of 10am – 3:30pm. This ride is $7 per person and is located near the front of the zoo. All guests 13 and older who ride the Bungee Bounce must be wearing masks. You’ll have the time of your life as you launch upwards into the sky, bouncing again and again to see a bird’s eye view of the zoo. Please be sure to check the age and weight restrictions for this one-of-a-kind zoo ride.

Don’t you just adore barnyard animals? Come to the barnyard and get a chance to feed the animals! This experience is open daily at 10:30am and is available while the supplies last. To purchase this experience is $2 per person and is available for purchase inside the ZOOfari Outpost Gift Shop. You’ll be able to meet chickens, alpaca, donkeys, llamas, and goats! This experience is a favorite of the little ones!
