Take a relaxing bike ride down one of the thirty-two miles of paved bike trails that follow along the American River Parkway. If you want to be transported back in time, visit Old Sacramento. This riverfront historic district is lined with Gold Rush-era buildings, cobblestone streets, and horse-drawn carriages.
