One of the amazing things to do at the Dallas Zoo can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home. They offer several virtual programs online as off-grounds programs cannot be held at this time. You’ll be able to meet various zoo animals from all over the planet in the new Virtual Animal Adventure and learn about them from the experts. This event is $200 and can hold up to 300 guests via Zoom. At this time, only virtual animal programs are offered at the Dallas Zoo until further notice. However, they can be customized according to what animals are available for the program. Simply email AnimalAdventures@DallasZoo.com for further details!

If you’d like to get to the zoo early and enjoy an hour all to yourself with other members, you’ll enjoy Member Mornings on Saturday, February 6th and Sunday, February 7th from 8am-9am, and also Saturday, March 6th and Sunday, March 7th from 8am-9am. This special early hour is only for zoo members, so be sure to purchase your membership beforehand.

If you’re an animal lover, you can “adopt” an animal from the zoo. Your gift helps to support the Dallas Zoo’s participation in Species Survival Plans (SSPs), which greatly helps endangered species all throughout the world. Once you’ve adopted an animal, it remains in custody of the zoo and no ownership rights are transferred. You are simply paying for the right to help take care of that specific animal. The good news is you are able to choose which animal you “adopt”! Your choices range from an African Elephant, to an African Lion, and from a Nile Hippo to a Chimpanzee. Adoption fees range from $50 for a Meerkat to $125 for a Reticulated Giraffe.

If you’d like the Dallas Zoo to host your event, be it a corporate meeting, a birthday party, or a wedding, they’ll help you take care of it all, including the price of admission, the catered menu, and a themed adventure. Larger parties get discounted admission. For your personalized event, book online! The link to booking your event is provided below.

Come on down to the Dallas Zoo and have yourself a roaring adventure!
