Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree 

Perhaps the most famous Christmas tree in the world is the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. This tree is typically around eighty feet tall and is decorated with thousands of twinkling lights and topped with a beautiful Swarovski crystal star. The tree is a short ten-minute walk from Times Square, if you head east straight down 49th Street. It is truly a sight to see and one that you do not want to miss. 

Plaza Hotel Christmas Tree 

The Plaza Hotel is a New York City institution. Each year, the hotel has a magnificent Christmas tree on display in the lobby. Decorated with delicate, elegant ornaments, this tree is sophisticated. You can get to the Plaza Hotel from Times Square in about fifteen minutes walking northeast along 5th avenue and 58th street. 

Bryant Park Christmas Tree 

Located in Bryant Park’s Winter Village, this tree overlooks an ice rink and holiday market. This is the perfect place to stop if you want to take some holiday photos. This tree is full of classic, but vibrant ornaments that scream Christmastime. This tree is about a ten-minute walk from Times Square traveling east on 42nd street.
