A guide will lead you throughout various paths of the zoo, often taking differing routes every time, so no matter if you’ve gone on one before, you won’t have the same experience twice. This event is $15 per person or $10 for members. Children 3 and under are free but they must be carried or in a stroller throughout the tour. If you’re in a group, no more than 12 guests are allowed. These guides know insider knowledge of the zoo and the animals, so this is no run-of-the-mill tour. Tours are held Monday through Wednesday at 11am, or Friday through Sunday at 11am and also 3pm. Beginning Thursday April 2nd, the tour will be available on Thursdays at 11am.

If you want to learn a bit of history about the zoo, you’ll definitely want to go on the Wild Walks: History Tour.
