Visiting Baltimore can be an exciting experience. When you land at BWI, chances are you already have a list of things to do around the city. Medieval Times 

Do you like time travel? Well, travel back in time to the 11th century when you visit the Medieval Times Maryland Castle. This experience is exciting for all ages. Enter the Hall of Arms and explore all the castle has to offer. Enjoy the suits of armor lining the hall, grab a drink at the bar, or pick up a souvenir at the gift shop. Once you enter the Grand Ceremonial Arena, the fun really begins. Guests are seated based on the color of the crown you receive at the door. You’ll get the chance to root for your knight in the tournament and witness jousting, sword fights, and hand to hand combat. You’ll be served a delicious meal during the show and some lucky visitors are presented with a rose from the winning knight. Everyone will definitely leave the castle fully satisfied. 

Arundel Mills 

If you’re into shopping, Arundel Mills is the largest outlet shopping destination in the area. This shopping center boasts more than 200 stores to allow you to shop until you drop. Choose from high end brands like Michael Kors and the Coach Factory Store. You’ll also find big brands such as the Lego Store and Forever 21 inside. Casual dining includes Chick-Fil-A, Johnny Rockets, The Cheesecake Factory, and more. Grab your caffeine fix at one of the Starbucks coffee locations. The entrance to the Medieval Times castle is also located within the mall. A trip to Arundel Mills is a ton of fun all under one roof. 

Guinness Open Gate Brewery & Barrel House 

For an adult experience, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery & Barrel House welcomes guests for a tour and tasting. Guides will share the history of Guinness and show you around the brewery to get a glimpse of the brewing process. For something truly unique, book a Yoga Ex-Beer-ience. This forty-five minute yoga session is guided by a local Yoga expert. Following the session, you’ll be treated to a Guinness pint of your choice. This yoga class will leave you both refreshed physically and well hydrated.

National Electronics Museum 

Electronics are the wave of the future. If you don’t mind a short day trip, the National Electronics Museum is located about thirty-two minutes from BWI. There are nine permanent exhibits displaying breakthroughs in electronics history. The museum covers areas like communications, radar, satellites, and much more. The museum is the perfect place for visitors to learn about technological achievements and advances in the field and see where technology is headed.
