Huntsville State Park
Adorned with oceans of loblolly pines and shortleaf pine trees, Huntsville State Park is another proud addition to the series of natural reserves, parks, and wildlife areas around the Houston area. Here, with resident populations of white-tailed deer, opossums, armadillos, fox squirrels, 218 species of bird, popular sport fish, and alligators, this is a great destination for those wildlife photographers and animal enthusiasts visiting the Houston area.
