Normandale Japanese Garden

As long as Normandale’s buildings are allowed to be open, the garden will remain open as well. The beauty and serenity of the garden make it ideal for contemplation and renewal of the spirit. The garden is open year-round at no charge, except when reserved for special events. We ask that children under 12 not visit the garden without supervision. A self-guided tour brochure is available inside the square shelter located in the garden. If you are not able to visit the garden, our online tour describes the landscaping and architectural features.
NE Minneapolis Municipal Iris Gardens

The focus of the gardens is to study reblooming iris for Minnesota gardens, to collect and preserve Minnesota Iris Introductions, past and present, and to showcase for public education the unique variety of colors and characteristics the many different iris species display. Specifically, to research which iris species and cultivars grow and rebloom well in Zone 4 Minnesota gardens.

Munsinger Gardens and Clemens Gardens

These are two distinct but adjacent gardens on the banks of the Mississippi River. Both Gardens dazzle from late spring deep into fall. The gardens are open every day from 6:00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m., spring to fall. There is no admission fee.
