If you are here to find out what is open in Denver, CO, during the coronavirus then keep reading to find out more. Below we have put together a list of a few businesses in the city that are open during this time; while it is not feasible for us to list them all, we can at least give you a few different options of businesses you can visit at the moment.

  1. THE DENVER MUSEUM OF NATURE & SCIENCE

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is packed to the rafters of everything you could possibly want or need to know about nature and science. Here you can explore the animals of the past, learn about nature that you may never have seen before, as well as delving into the intricacies of health science, earth science, space science, and so much more. There are a large number of exhibits, a planetarium, and even an Imax theater – there is more than enough to do to spend the whole day here. Book tickets in advance and wear a mask while you are here.

  1. REGAL UA DENVER PAVILIONS 4DX & RPX

The Regal Theater is actually one of only a handful of movie theaters that are currently showing movies, not just in this city, but in most cities across the country. They are currently screening a mix of older and classic movies such as Rocky, the Lord of the Rings, and Jurrasic Park. While you may have seen these movies a hundred times before, the movie theater experience is always a nice way to pass a few hours. There is a reduced capacity of 50% in this theater so you will have to book your tickets well in advance, and you will also be required to wear a face mask at all times.

  1. FARMERS’ MARKETS

For more than forty years, Denver has hosted farmers’ markets in a number of areas in the city. Despite the coronavirus, these markets are still open for the public, and it’s a great way to not only stock up on fresh produce or homemade goods but also to support local businesses. There are currently five locations that host markets; Lakewood, and Southwest Plaza on Saturdays; Highlands Ranch, and Reunion on Sundays; and Littleton on Wednesdays. Enjoy the fresh air and soak up the smell of fresh flowers, foods, and other gorgeous items.

  1. RESTAURANTS

Like with the businesses we have already included in this list, we cannot name every restaurant that is open in Denver. We can, however, give you some recommendations of the top-rated restaurants in the city so you can be guaranteed to have a good meal out the next time you need a break from the kitchen duties at home.

  • Barolo Grill
  • Rioja
  • Fruition Restaurant
  • El Five
  • Root Down
  • Mercantile Dining and Provision
  • The Capital Grille
  • Work & Class
  • Watercourse Foods
  • Guard and Grace

Despite the new rules and regulations, there are still quite a few things to do and places to visit in Denver; if you have any concerns about how to stay safe when you are out then you should check out your city’s website in order to find more information on best practices.
