You’ll begin your travels with Carnival Cruise Lines aboard the Carnival Elation. On the first day of sailing, you’ll depart from Jacksonville in the late afternoon and spend a full day at sea. This gives you the chance to explore all of the activities available on board the ship. You’ll find a wide range of things to do from mini golf to water activities. There is a spa available for a little extra pampering. Is this an adults-only trip? Take advantage of the comedy club or casino on board. Traveling as a family? Not to worry. Once you arrive in the Bahamas, your first port will be in Nassau. Snooze in the sun on one of the white sand beaches or try out one of the many water slides at one of the water parks. Don’t miss a chance to swim and pose for a picture with the dolphins, an activity that’s great for travelers of all ages! The second stop will be Half Moon Cay, a picture-perfect private island. Rent a cabana and indulge in a professional massage right on the beach. It doesn’t get much more relaxing than that. If you’re more interested in adventure, swim with the stingrays, take in the beautiful views on horseback or take a slow kayak ride through the lagoon.

You’ll have one more day of fun at sea before you arrive back in Jacksonville. This destination is sure to be a treat.

The Caribbean

On day four, the first stop is Grand Turk of the Turks & Caicos Islands. This hidden gem gives you plenty of opportunities to take Instagram-worthy photos against picturesque backdrops. Dip your toes into the sparking turquoise seas right off the island. For an additional cost, you can opt for one of the many excursions available on the island. There’s everything from snorkeling to tours of the island by Hummer.
